Partial Muting of Accounts

I'd like to be able to "partially mute" an account which I might find interesting but which is tooting so much that its toots dominate my home timeline.
That would mean, that I can choose to set a limit on how many toots per day I want to be shown by a given account I'm following - or alternatively - by all accounts I'm following.

Motivation

I think, this is especially interesting for accounts which are cross-posting from twitter where I guess the algorithm automatically (for better or probably for worse) applies such a partial muting.
