I think it would be useful to be able to comment on web pages with a Mastodon connected browser extension similar to Dissenter. It would allow people to respond to webpages which don't have comment sections like Wikipedia or have disabled comments like can happen on YouTube videos. Also, since it would be a Mastodon tool, people would be able to change their instance and therefore filter out a lot of commentary they disprove of, which isn't possible with the Dissenter extension.
Maybe the current Dissenter browser extension could be forked and integrated with Mastodon somehow? I don't know what the API details would be.
