Today I got a report from another instance about one of my users. I want to deal with this quickly, but the UI doesn’t help me:

  • While there’s a link to the user’s toots, there’s not a direct link to their account so I have to manually navigate to it.

I wish there was a direct link that it reduces the chances that I accidentally navigate to the wrong user.

  • Hmm, it doesn’t seem like there’s anything to do here, but I want to let the other instance know that I’ve looked into it instead of just ignoring the issue. Oh, wait: who I tell? I have to copy-and-paste the instance name into my browser (it’s not a link) and dig around to find its admin’s account.

I wish there were a way to easily reply without having to do that research. Bonus points if the reply was a template for a direct message, like “I’m replying to your report on my user foo:”. Super bonus points if “resolve with note” had an option to do this for me automatically.

I'm 100% behind this. Moderation is important. Ease of moderation is a Good Thing.
