Contributing

Thanks for your interest in contributing to StreamProcessor!

To get started contributing:

  1. Fork the repo, develop and test your code changes.
  2. Ensure that your code adheres to the existing style.
  3. Ensure that your code has an appropriate set of unit tests which all pass.
  4. Run mvn test to verify all tests and checks pass.
  5. Submit a pull request.

Contributor License Agreement

Whenever you add Content to a repository containing notice of a license, you license that Content under the same terms, and you agree that you have the right to license that Content under those terms.

Isn't this just how it works already? Yep. This is widely accepted as the norm in the open-source community; it's commonly referred to by the shorthand "inbound=outbound". We're just making it explicit.

Code reviews

All submissions, including submissions by project members, require review. We use GitHub pull requests for this purpose. Consult GitHub Help for more information on using pull requests.
