Chapter 9, difficulties with changes in AppEngine, "go_appengine"

The process of installing the google appengine sdk (on Mac) seems to have changed to differ much from how it is laid out in the book. For example, the folder go_appengine is no longer existant even after trying many various ways and successfully running "gcloud components install app-engine-go". It would be very nice if you could create a new run-through on how to get started with this. Until then, for me, chapter 9 is sadly rendered nearly completely useless to me, as I cannot figure out how to properly set the $PATH variable and there is little useful information in all the searches i've performed. The official google docs seem to not realize that their steps are essentially ineffective.
