This is my emacs setup for my MacOSX setup of Aquamacs. It does also seem to work with platform generic distros. It is derived but growing ever distant from the emacs setup of Neal Ford. My thanks to him for the n-1th kick in the pants to go emacs.

Using

1. Symlink ~/.emacs to <thisrepo>/dot_emacs.el
2. Symlink ~/.emacs.d to <thisrepo>
3. Download and install Aquamacs
4. Enjoy your gnu-found editor freedom

Updates

Pull requests are very welcome. I know I need to update a few components to later versions.

Use Cases

My main uses within this profile are:

1. adoc for asciidoc editing.
2. magit for git manipulation
3. dired for file manipulation and browsing
4. desktop for state persistence
