Support for sympy >= 1.10 #132
Comments
Hi @DManowitz ! Do you actually use the functionality that formulaic uses sympy for? Or is it blocking your depsolver from selecting sympy? I will likely be stripping out the sympy functionality from formulaic or putting it in a plugin or something. |
I don't actually use that functionality. It is just preventing formulaic
from being installed together with sympy. I am primarily using conda to
install my packages at the moment, rather than pip, so even if you put
sympy functionality into a plugin, it might still end up as a constraint in
a conda package, even if it is not a dependency.

I see that formulaic does not currently work with sympy >= 1.10. However, sympy 1.10 is now more than 1 year old, so I would like to request that formulaic work with it.
