I've been working on a project using MaxGraph that requires finer-grained control over keyboard events. This includes 'keyup' listeners and binding alt-keys in addition to ctrl and shift. I've done this by adding a new class that inherits from KeyHandler, but I could relatively easily make a pull request and add the changes directly to MaxGraph.
This would involve
Adding a bindAltKey function (possibly also bindAltShiftKey, bindCtrlAltKey, etc)
Somehow editing the interface to handle both the 'keydown' and 'keyup' events. In my case, I edited the bindKey function signatures to take an object {up: Function, down: Function} similar to a MouseListenerSet. However I can imagine that others might prefer some other solution.
Would the community here be interested in these features, or is it too specific to my use case?
