Walking Group is an Android Application that allow you to build or join local walking group. This app aims to encourage people walk to school. Using retrofic to communication with api and google api for the map services.
- "Panic Button" for children to send messages without typing to parents or their group leaders in emergency situation
- Allow parents(Monitors) to accept or deny their children(Monitoring) to be monitored or leadred by some one else.
- Encourage users to walk by redeem the points to buy more fancy theme and titles
- Start point and end point is showing on the map, and parents can track their children all the way untill they reached the designeated location

WalkingGroup uses pure java for main function, and Retrofit to communicate with API which created by SFU specific for CMPT276 to work properly:

WalkingGroup requires at least Android 5.0 or above to run.
