We created our project with the intent to maximize a pleasant user experience. This includes writing a control scheme which is easy to use and intuitive. For those who enjoy step by step instructions, please read on
- Click this link. When you arrive at the pictured page, hit the 'Enter key
- After hitting enter, you will be greeted by npc dialogue. This dialogue explains the control scheme for the game. Read the dialogue, which explains that the 'A' key is for moving left, the 'D' key is for moving right, 'W' is for moving up, and 'S' is for moving down. The spacebar is used to shoot enemies and the 'shift' key is used to fire the ship's special move. Enjoy!
- Can you beat Will's high score, listed below? If so shoot us a message to one of the Social Media accounts we listed above and we'll send you very cool prize 😃
We welcome Pull requests! For any major changes, please open an issue first to discuss what you would like to change.
To build our game, we primarily used Phaser 3, a JavaScript Library. To see a list of other games created in Phaser 3, click here. Our game was inspired by a few very well regarded shoot em up games. A couple which come to mind are Blazing Lazers and U.N. Squadron.
