ALLOWEBP is a WordPress plugin that allow to upload .webp media files.
Download and extract the zip archive to a allowebp folder in your WordPress installation wp-content/plugins.
Alternatively, as a single-file plugin, it can be downloaded directly and placed within the mu-plugins directory of a site.

After activated consent to upload .webp media files format.
