Hey there,

the other day I was translating some MDN web docs into German and followed a link by accident.
Using Firefox' back button made me loose all my changes.
Is there a way to prevent loss of data? E.g. by having a confirm() on beforeunload or saving it in localStorage until the user is saving / cancelling the changes?

In the end, I had to redo my translation five times ._.

Hey Ryuno-Ki, we do have a auto-saving feature for article edits, unfortunately it doesn't work when you work on a new page. We're currently working on moving editing to Github, so we're unlikely to get to it before then.

Oh, okay.
Is there any feature / repo I could subscribe to to follow along?

We're days away from actually checking in some actual real content.
