Where is the best place to override/configure logger default settings?

"electron": "7.1.2",
"electron-log": "4.3.5",

Electron logger sometimes does not override the settings even after restarting the app.
I'm overriding the default settings in Electron main constructor function as soon as it initialises.
So it's not inside app.on('read' () => {}).

For example I have set maxSize to 5MB but it's always 1MB.
The other example is here, which sometimes changes the .old to the new format and sometimes doesn't.

    const archiveSize = 5 * 1024 * 1024;

I cannot see it anywhere in the documentations where is the best place to set it up.

I realised I need add the same settings in the angular size as well.
