There are two types of switching languages:

  • via Android Language settings per app (I remember this would work from Android 13 on)
  • via a classic setting in the app itself

To do: Analyse which type(s) to use and implement them.

The next version of Gauguin will include Language choosing via per-app locale from Android 13 on. This will include every locale for that a locale file was created, thus there will be incomplete languages to choose from.

We will go wih the Android system language chooser until an in-app chooser gets needed.
