- Hold shift to draw straight lines, while clicking and dragging
- Place each brush stroke on new layer (Cmd-Shift-N)
- Merge layers when done
- Convert to Smart Object
- Filter -> Liquify

- Turn image into a Smart Object
- Filter -> Pixelate -> Color Halftone
- Adjust Halftone radius. Bigger equals bigger dots
- Play with Color Channels: -360 to 360
- Can't draw so I drew a simple cat
- View -> Show Grid (⌘')
- View -> Snap to Grid (⌘⇧')
- Used Polygon Tool
- Reflect Tool (O)
- Use Frames (drop shadow, white border, size 5, no fill)
- Rotate a few
- Cut image
- Edit -> Place Into # Each frame (⌘-⌥-V)
- Filter -> Other -> Offset
- Clone Stamp tool (S) - Sample rough edges
- Edit -> Define Pattern
- Apply Pattern as Layer Style - Pattern Overlay

This is my first time using InDesign so I simply learned how to make text wrap around an image.
- Select the shape. (not the text)
- Window -> Text Wrap (⌘-⌥-W)
- Select third button (Wrap around object shape)

- File -> Place (place image)
- He used premium fonts
- Baseline shift (Opt up/down arrow) and kerning (Opt left/right arrow) to get 'it' to slide together
- Bevel/Emboss
- Use Screen mode
- Alt/Option drag from fx to copy style
- Use Timeline to add keyframe for styles
- R - Rotate Tool
- O - Reflect Tool (Alt/Option to copy while reflecting)

- Linear gradients
- Radial gradients
I didn't choose good colors for gradient. Wanted to do the bubbles.
- Keep stroke size the same
- Helps to sketch with pencil/paper first
- Rotate (R) then duplicate (Cmd-d) to get sun rays
- Shift-E erase on sun rays
- Object -> Pattern -> Make
- Pattern is placed in Swatches panel
- Use pattern as a Fill Color
- Double-click on swatch to rename, etc
- Once the swatch is created, fill a rectangle with the swatch pattern.
- Font: Acumin Variable Concept
- Wide UltraBlack
- From the Properties panel change: Weight, Width, and Slant.
- Added a Drop Shadow effect on Every.
- Added a Stroke effect on Every.
- Colors from Dribbble
Create dual-tone effect on photographs.
- Double-click on Adjustment layer to change Layer Blending options to get nice effect.
- To remove rough edge, use Alt/Option to split to create a range.
