Not getting data in

I'm new to Splunk and having trouble with trouble shooting why I can't get data into the dashboard. I installed the App and put in the API key and server name but, I'm having issues with installing the nodeJS modular input on a Redhat box.
Splunk 6.5.2
Would I be able to get a quick guide to getting data into the app? or where I should look to troubleshoot?

Hi @Waltersr23 I have not used v1 of the app on Splunk 6.5.2. I also think with 6.5.2 the node experience is not that great.

You may want to try the following app to ingest data

I have chatted with the author about dropping this app for ingestion in favour of that TA and turning this into simple dashboards.

I've been having page rendering issues with that app in the data inputs.

Sorry, I had not tested this app on a RedHat box. What node commands are you running?

Can you try from spunk/etc/apps/octopus_deploy/bin/app/

npm install
