Simplistic and very much work in progress gnome shell extension for hamster.
The extension is now up in extensions.gnome.org:
https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/425/project-hamster-extension/
The extensions page will work for gnome-shell versions starting from 3.4.
If you are stuck with an older gnome shell version, you can
grab an older version from the tags
Install from sources for testing or development purposes.
To install just symlink checkout folder into ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/
as hamster@projecthamster.wordpress.com.
It looks something like this:
cd ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/ ln -s /path/to/the/checkout hamster@projecthamster.wordpress.com
After that you can head to the extensions page to enable it and edit prefs at
https://extensions.gnome.org/local/
- it’s still very minimal
