In an effort to make DCOS packages more accessible to users, Mesosphere will be decommissioning this repo in favor of https://github.com/mesosphere/universe

On Wednesday March 30th 2016 13:30 PDT (Wednesday March 30th 2016 20:30 UTC) the contents of this repo will be migrated to https://github.com/mesosphere/universe

In preparation for this move please update this PR to ensure that it can merge and is targeted at branch version-2.x. If this PR is obsolete please feel free to close it.

If this PR is not ready to merge prior to the above time, this PR will be closed and not migrated.

After this repo has been decommissioned all contributions for packages will still follow the same PR process just targeting https://github.com/mesosphere/universe instead of this repo.
