Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
On slowly changing dimensions is pretty common to join against constants (eg a version) or relative dates (eg today or this week)

Describe the solution you'd like
Make joining against constants a possibility

Describe alternatives you've considered
make a SQL question

How important is this feature to you?
support these use cases without having to do sql questions

So something like custom expressions for joins?
