masonryColumnShift layout mode is currently not in v2. Please +1 if you would like to see it back.

Also - I'm curious if people need this layout mode with Isotope, or they just need it as a layout library (like Masonry or Packery), in which case they do not need filtering or sorting.

we are using a stamp as a right column. Some of the issues are, when you use a "fixed" height 100% div its only 100% of the window view, so as you scroll, the stamp stays in place but at 100%, the problem is that items reflow under the stamp (below the view of the window). I don't know if masonryColumnShift would help fix this issue or if we could adopt something from it?

Packery v2 supports shiftLayout which achieves the same functionality that the masonryColumnShift layout mode was going for. Even better, it can shift down multiple columns.
