<table> not rendering correctly

I have a table that has many rows and columns, each with variable height. The first row of the table shows, but all other cells are hidden, aka there is no text showing whatsoever, just the table border. I've messed with the amount of cells/text within it, but I can't get a good example of what works while something else doesn't.
