@michel-kraemer, note that the addition of "epub-date" to CSL hasn't been decided yet, and that we'll probably go with a different name. We'll keep track of this in citation-style-language/schema#125 |
@rmzelle Yes, I know. That's why I haven't merged the PR yet. Thanks for the link anyhow. |
@michel-kraemer , I'll update the branch (and this PR), once they release a new version of the schema. You can close it if you want, or leave it open for a placeholder. |
Thanks, @Klortho! I'll leave it open as a reminder. |
@Klortho Any news here? Can we close the PR now or is this still being discussed? |
Well, on the CSL side we don't have solid schedule yet on the next release, so this could take a while to get resolved. |
Nothing has changed on our end. I still have an open task to write the NLM citation CSL, and it's heating up -- I'd really like to get it off my plate soon. @rmzelle , is the new date field implemented already, so we're just waiting for the next release? (I see that [my PR|https://github.com/citation-style-language/schema/pull/125] is not pulled, but I remember that you said you were going to implement it with a different name). |
No. I don't expect resistance to adding an electronic publishing date variable, but the exact variable name is somewhat up for grabs until we freeze the changes for the next release. I'm running out of things to procrastinate on, though, so we should see a new release in 2017. |
This pull request is just too old. I'm closing it now. Please open a new issue if necessary. |
This adds support for a new date field,
epub-date
, as described in the xbiblio-devel email thread, How to encode and process "ahead of print".
