License does not set itself to expired automatically

Bug
License does not set itself to expired automatically when expiry_date is reached even though
"Enable auto expiration" is set to active. It says -x days overdue but status stays "active"

Expected behavior
License should set itself to expired after expiry_date is reached when "Enable auto expiration" is set to active in Settings.
