SUMMARY: The sent query is for a PTR record, while Responder will only poison requests for A or ANY.

Technical details:

Inside of the MDNS library, it is manually configured to only use PTR requests.

Solution: Fork the MDNS library, allow calls to Lookup and Query to specify record type.
