Welcome to the ExpressivePixels wiki! Here you'll learn about the different ways to integrate Expressive Pixels animations into your own creations and projects.

Expressive Pixels is layered, at the core is an image Animation Format optimized for embedded microprocessors with minimal memory and compute power.

Depending on your project scenario you may wish to embed a fixed set of animations into your display capable device in which case you can use the minimal amount of firmware code, or create a project that has connectivity so that animations can be launched from other devices over Bluetooth or USB, using the Expressive Pixels Communication Protocol.

The Expressive Pixels firmware code can be integrated into a wide range of devices, from the most feature rich Nordic NRF52 processor based devices, Arduino devices, and we also support Expressive Pixels authored animations to be integrated into MakeCode programs and devices.
