Database creation for HoloLens 2 app made with Unity and MRTK

Hello, I would highly appreciate if anyone can point me to the right direction if I want to create and manage a database of different information (pictures, reports,...) collected inside an app on the HoloLens 2. I would like to create two databases: a small one that would stay in the app, a larger one that would be stored in the cloud.
For the larger one, I can directly save data from the app to the cloud or save it on the HoloLens temporarily, then upload to a cloud database later.
A major cloud service would be great. I think that Azure would be the perfect fit, but more insights on that would be great. Thanks!
