[FanzyZones] Snapping a window to more zones with mouse only #10191
Comments
perhaps left click + right click for snapping to single zone, and left click + middle click for snapping to multiple zones? |
Thank you very much for spending thoughts on it <3 |
I also like to have more zones with mouse only, but I would suggest an alternative method instead:
|
Would be great if we can simply drag with the alternative mouse button to select multiple zones. |
another idea for this: single primary button + single alternative button click for single zone mode, and single primary button + double alternative button click to enter multiple zone mode, with the zone under the cursor as origin. |
I would love for the ability to Middle Click + Drag anywhere within the window, not just the title bar, to initiate FancyZones. GridMove does this perfectly, and it makes it much easier to move Windows into the grids without needing to worry about where you're clicking AND only using one hand/gesture. |

Being able to Snap a window to more zones with mouse only
At the moment this is only possible with the keyboard described here:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/powertoys/fancyzones#snapping-a-window-to-two-or-more-zones
add mouse + (shift) + ctrl behavior for non primary mouse button ?
