Description of the new feature / enhancement

lets say we type ? and will show us ?file searching mode etc

I think this hint will make fresh user knowing more what they are doing

A variation of the ask. @niels9001, what are your thoughts here. @msongz when reflecting here and looking at #11591, there is an assumption on this ask. The user knows what ? will do. Where the other issue doesn't assume anyone knows about anything.

@msongz #11591 includes some proposals on how to solve this. I agree we need this, but as @crutkas points out - how would the user know it's "?".

Something that's explicitly there (e.g. showing when nothing is typed, or with a info button) would have my preference.

i think my case would more concise, and training user to dig more stuff and keep learning skill, other than offer them all knowledge
but anyway, #11591 cases are good to have
