Description of the new feature / enhancement

My feature request is an idea to make Window Walker a little bit more powerful. It can become faster alternative for Alt + Tab shortcut.

Right now, to change current window focus by Window Walker, you need to:

  1. Open Power Toys Run.
  2. Type < character.
  3. Write something to get any result.

So here we have to use one keyboard shortcut and a lot of typing to get any results. As a power user I actually have no profit from using Window Walker, Alt + Tab shortcut is just faster to use (maybe I have no imagination what is "Window Walker" created for). For me personally, results of opened windows should be visible right after opening Power Toys Run (one keyboard shortcut) or after opening Power Toys Run and typing < (without need to write anything after < character). For me it is really important to see list of opened windows in chronological use direction (last used at the top, the oldest used at the bottom, currently focused window can be omitted).

Alt + Tab shortcut is uncomfortable, especially with iteration over windows previews and Alt + Tab + Shift shortcut to come back. I really would like to use Power Toys Run for this but in a little bit more convenient way than now. For me it is game changer.

Scenario when this would be used?

Probably it will be hardly used by users that work with multiple applications opened at the same time. For example in my workflow there is always need to change focus fast between opened windows (average 6 windows or more).

Launcher introduced in Pop!_OS was great: Pop!_OS Launcher video

But be aware, in my opinion Pop!_OS destroyed launcher with one of the system updates. In the past it was showing used applications in chronological order as I described above. Right now, after system update some time ago, applications are listed totally randomly. It killed launcher usefulness for any other thing than launching applications, calc operations, etc. It is totally messed up in the "window walking" functionality (personally I have the same problem with it as with "Window Walker" implemented in Power Toys - faster window focus switch is with usage of Alt + Tab shortcut).
