Environment

Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.18362.657]

Windows build number: [run "ver" at a command prompt]

PowerToys version:  Release v0.16.0
PowerToy module for which you are reporting the bug (if applicable):

Steps to reproduce

Download and install latest version from https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys/releases

Expected behavior

Normal Settings UI with rendered HTML

Actual behavior

Settings UI not display instead HTML source code

wow, that is a first! We'll be migrating stuff to a totally new UI subsystem. #889 is the tracking issue.

@enricogior any idea for unblocking?

Anything I could think about is some sort of security policy.
@gdeverlant are you using a personal device or is it a company computer that joins a domain?

to be honest I have no idea what could cause that beside some security policies, but since your are using your personal laptop, I would assume that is not the case.
Have you already tried uninstalling and reinstalling PowerToys?

Yup tried again and same result.
Tried also the latest version 0.16.1 still the same problem

@crutkas, @enricogior can we close this since we've migrated to Settings v2?

yes, we can close it after 0.18 is released.

this will be fixed with 0.18

The fix is now available in 0.18 https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys/releases when running Windows 10 version 1903 or higher.
