Similar to macOS quick view where you can see various files quickly without opening them. On macOS users can create custom plugins for various files and output is just HTML which is show when you press space over a file.

Hi @lordlycastle ,
Thank you for the suggestion. Wouldn't this be the "Preview Pane" in "File Explorer"?

@jaimecbernardo
No, on macOS you can press space bar on a file to get a modal like preview. Here are two Windows apps that attempt to recreate the feature https://www.windowscentral.com/seer-vs-quicklook-who-wears-crown-best-preview-app

@jaimecbernardo don't know what preview pane is. But it's not the same as mentioned above.

It also have basic functionality like select & copy text. Buttons for zip files preview to expand and see contents.

The Preview Pane is a zone in the File Explorer where a preview of the currently selected file is shown. You can enable it in "File Explorer/View/Panes/Preview pane".
It looks like this suggestion is for something more detailed.

Windows Photo and Fax Viewer, size program, super lightweight, integrate simple API calls.

Preview Pane was rubbish because you could have Explorer window open in the background minimised or running on a different work station entirely with the preview pane looking at a file. Then preventing you from deleting or saving the latest version of the file you've just been editing.

The Finder - quick view by hitting the space bar while looking at a file is much better because as soon as you found what you're looking for you can press space again and close it or hit enter to open it in the default application.

Preview Pane is the opposite of what is required.

Also updated the title and the body in #80 to be sure this issue was clearly referenced
