While running a build for a PR (for a VS Extension project) I get the following error in the Sonar Post step:

Sonar Version is 5.6 and C# plugin 5.3

Hi Pascal,

Thanks for reporting this issue. We are aware of the problem at this time, have investigated the root cause, and a fix is on its way. While we do so, you can unblock yourself in one of two ways:

  • If you are able to modify the task files, the following pull request should be able to fix the problem: Type not found. #2036. We would appreciate it if you could report back to us about the effectiveness of the solution if you do.
  • Setting a build variable SQPullRequestBot to false will disable the Pull Request Code Analysis feature and stop the errors from occurring.

Thanks @HSAR. Using the version build from #2036 fixed this issue, but now I get another error: #2045
