If I wouldn't see relatively recent commits and discussions here I would have assumed directly the worst. But let me ask: is this project actually... alive? I see documented the maximum supported release Eclipse 4.6 which is Juno from 2016 (eight years ago), the Eclipse marketplace does not work and just points here, the Azure DevOps Learn entry is from 2019 and gives wrong instructions (a not existing update link), clicking from an Azure DevOps project the link "clone project in Eclipse" tries an URL protocol of which not even Google search ever heard (vsoeclipse)... I simply don't understand what is going on. Those who is opening issues and discussing, how on earth are they using this plugin???

PS yes I could download the latest release from GitHub and unpack locally, but at this stage I don't trust it to work so wouldn't lose that time.
