The only bummer on this one is it is Oracle SE Linux based which has an outdated git version in it -- but near as I can tell the openjdk image flipped to this and the only way to resolve it is to build from source (which is hugely time consuming and drops a ton of stuff in the image). //cc: @chrimart @egamma @kieferrm - It looks like new Java containers have made an unfortunate pivot away from Debian which can cause confusion for users and results in an outdated (<2.0) git version. There's a warning that appears - but I think we can merge this in and then add that to the environment specific settings for VS Code. |
