Keyboard shortcut to copy plots to clipboard #460

Pulled from microsoft/vscode-python#11781

I am often coping and pasting charts as I go. Having a command and/or UI button which copies to the clipboard would be great but not required.

Hi there! Please can you go into more detail into what you mean by "charts" with respect to VSCode

Happy to! The "chart" is the visualization of the data (the result from matplotlib) which appears in the "Python Interactive" tab when a cell is executed. Here's a screenshot, the "chart" is highlighted on the right. The feature request is adding an additional way to export this chart using copy and paste.

Hmm, I don't see this as being resolved by the new Editor UI, should keep this around.
