I do remote editing. I have some open files pinned. Normally when I close VS Code and restart it, my previously pinned files are still there, pinned, and other files are automatically opened. I believe this is how it should work.
However, if when I restart VS Code there is a problem connecting to the remote machine (e.g., machine down, or network issue), then when I resolve the issue and reconned, the pinned files (and previously opened files) are not automatically re-opened. I believe this also happens if I restart the remote machine.
I care less about the opened files, since these are more transient. But I expect at least my pinned files to survive the above scenario.
VS Code version: Code 1.56.2 (054a929, 2021-05-12T17:13:13.157Z)
OS version: Windows_NT x64 10.0.19042
