Complexity: 2

Authors: @rzhao271, @roblourens

Create Issue

  1. Open the Settings Editor.
  2. Search for the git.checkoutType setting. Another setting one can try is jupyter.widgetScriptSources (requires the Jupyter extension).
  3. Play around with the settings.

Some things to try or think about for step 3:

  • Does the setting pick up updates to the settings JSON file (if one has that file open in another tab)?
  • Is the widget accessible?
  • Can the widget present the information in a better way?
