Feature Suggestion: The ability to embed the text editor in any text area (web, applications, games, etc) to allow using the functionality of VSCode in other situations, including context awareness (e.g. which chat ID in ChatGPT, who you are writing to on Discord, etc.) mapped to workspaces/files.

Lots of security concerns that would need to be addressed, but could be quite useful. Especially now text is a central interface thanks to LLMs, we could benefit a lot from VSCode and other powerful text editors in other contexts.

iframes would need support. However, an alternative embedding mechanism would likely make more sense for this use case.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I think this isn't a good fit for how VS Code works
