OS Version: Ubuntu 19.04 (VM in Windows 10 with virtualbox 6.0.14)
Machine: Dell XPS 15 7590 With 4K Monitor
Behaviour:
1.) Flickering many times when there is any activity and settles down when there is no activity. Menus are black, nothing to be seen sometimes,
2.) Freezes the whole VM and crashes the VM if I try to click the many more than once. Randomly crashes after some minutes of use, Same message box appear as in (3)
3.) It is a crash straight away and shuts down the virtualbox if I run VS Code in black theme under Ubuntu. The error dialog is from VirtualBox. Please refer to the uploaded picture. VM only crashes when VS Code is running. It is not a problem with VirtualBox for sure.
4.) VS Code UI does not seem to obey the scaling that was set in Ubuntu. I need to change the Workspace window scaling factor manually to make the UI bigger.
5.) Looks stable if I run it with --disable-gpu option.
6.) --ignore-gpu-blacklist has the same flickering issues. Trying to close VS Code in this mode crashes the virtualbox with the same dialogbox.
Steps to Reproduce:
It seems like an issue with 4K monitors
Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes
