Empty item in explorer after clicking on Collapse Folders action while editing new file/folder #96846

  • VSCode Version: From sources
  • OS Version: Ubuntu 18.04

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open folder in vscode
  2. Open explorer, click on an empty space in the explorer to focus the root folder
  3. Click on New File/New folder action
  4. Click on Collapse Folders in Explorer Action
  5. 🐛 Observe that an empty item in the explorer remains
