Please confirm these before moving forward

  • I have searched for my issue and not found a work-in-progress/duplicate/resolved issue.
  • I have not been informed if the issue is resolved in a preview version of the winget client.

Installation issue.

Brief description of your issue

After installing "MusicBrainz.Picard" with the latest version being 2.11.0 winget does not detect the version properly and still displays as update needed.

Note: I'm a maintainer of Picard and happy to help updating the manifest or Picard. I currently assume something is wrong with the latest manifest but I can't figure out what it is.

Steps to reproduce

winget install MusicBrainz.Picard
winget update

Actual behavior

As seen below the installed version is reported as > 2.10.0

As I understand the version is read from the uninstall registry. As far as I can tell Picard has entered itself properly there:
