how do i extract my browser cookies from CMD ?

i tried gallery-dl --cookies-from-browser chrome
and it says
[cookies][warning] failed to decrypt cookie (AES-GCM) because MAC check failed. Possibly the key is wrong?

is the fix just updating the gallery-dl ? or do i need to replace the poipiku.py ?

Until the next gdl release, you need to install the -dev version or replace your local poipiku.py file.

You can always use a browser addon, export cookies in cookies.txt format, and use that file with --cookies.

The implementation for --cookies-from-browser is mostly taken from yt-dlp. Could you test if it produces the same errors for you there? If not, I'll have to update some of the chrome cookie code here.

Could you please try using the option like this? --cookies-from-browser chrome:"Profile 4"

Where "Profile 4" is the name of your actual profile (that has those cookies, of course). You can check the profile name with chrome://version, the last part of the "Profile Path" property.
