[Reddit] Only the first image of a gallery is downloaded

Whenever i try to download a reddit gallery, as in, an album with more than 1 image in a single post, it only downloads the first image. The problem seems to be that all the files would have the same file name. Is there any way to know the position in the gallery of each image so that the files could be saved as "{title}_{position in gallery from 1 to n}.{extention}"? Or just add a number to the end of a file if the file name's a duplicate?

Try "{title}_{num}.{extension}". That'll append the number of an image's place in the gallery to the end of its filename, allowing you to download them all as it's no longer trying to keep redownloading different images with the same filename.

How do i use this? Do I have to put that somewhere in the config file or in command prompt?

You can use -E / --extractor-info to check what the default filename format does in this regard, which is {num:? //>02}

$ gallery-dl -E https://www.reddit.com/r/lavaporn/

Filename format (default):
  "{id}{num:? //>02} {title[:220]}.{extension}"
