Summary

No sound will play in the snap version of minetest. I've made sure it's unmuted and the volume is turned up, and everything else on my system can play sound. The version I previously had installed through apt was able to play sound fine.

This issue lacks log files to narrow down the issue. Considering Minetest works just fine on many other distros (without Snap), you should file an issue in the repository mentioned above. This is probably not a Minetest bug but rather a configuration issue.
