This refers to 0.4.3-release (not current git).

Start the game, sign onto a remote server, one with a slow network connection or a lot of data to send to the client. As soon as you hit Enter (or start) and the menu disappears, while the items/nodes/media are being loaded, quickly remove focus from the game, e.g. switch to your browser or another program.

As soon as the client is ready to show the world you signed onto, it will crash instead.

This affects Linux builds; I can't say if Windows builds are affected.

I use a dual-head system with XFCE as my desktop environment.

Still an issue for me with current HEAD, but it has less of a pattern/clear cause than it used to.

This doesn't seem to be an issue anymore. If it happens again, I'll file a new issue.
