text-analyzer

Text-analyzer reads .txt file of a novel and analyzes the writing style of the author.

Structure

It first creates the list of all the sentences with a class 'sentence.'

Functions

1. Count the number of words/sentence
2. Count the number of characters/sentence
3. Count the number of plain sentences and "conversations".
4. Count the number of words that starts with each alphabet
5. (library required) Count the number of parts of speech of words (adj, noun, verb, etc)
6. (library required) Count the number of voice of each verbs (passive, active)
