  • It would be useful to add a filter to filter by entity type if we have many types of entity eg Chart, Dataset, Data Product
  • It would also be useful to filter by platform eg filter by dbt ingestions or filter for tables ingested from Athena
  • How about a filter for if the data is public or not? whereToAccessDataset or SensitivityLevel both seem like places where this could be added
  • Do we want to implement all of these? Which ones have the clearest user need?

To do:

  • Add a filter for entity type in the search called "Entity Type"
  • Add a glossary term for "Entity" in code and manually
  • Remove the sensitivity level filter from view
