I think if you create a pull request it might get added. (I'm not the maintainer.) PS! This rewrite/mapping is suggested on Stack Overflow too - see https://stackoverflow.com/a/7989085/334497 which points to the relevant Android issue. |

Our gettext based tools are using language codes id, he, yi. However Java/Android are expecting in, iw, ji respectively.
We fixed this by adding those mappings to
ANDROID_LOCALE_MAPPING
inenv.py
