A simple question

I saw on a thread somewhere that freyr allowed you to change apple music into a format that works on old iPods, is this true? I just recently was able to get freyr to work but when I moved the music I downloaded using freyr onto my iPod I couldn't find it.

Am I just misunderstanding the purpose of freyr, or am I doing something wrong?

When did you do this? In #359, the OP successfully downloaded tracks using freyr and had them work.

Unfortunately, I don't have an iPod to test with.

I was trying to drag and drop via file explorer, but if I drag the file from file explorer onto the iPod in iTunes it works perfectly.

Another problem I had was that a good number of the songs on the album I was using as a test came back saying that there were no sources found. Is there anything I can do about this?

Very good question because the author fails to explain how to actually get the URL for a specific song in the Apple Music App? Drag and drop from Apple Music to the Terminal? Some kind of copy and paste? A simple help file would be really useful...

@haegar33, you can hit "Share" and then "Copy Link" on Songs, Albums, Artists or Playlists.

@weeneebeard, thanks for including a link. On first look. These songs are not directly searchable on YouTube Music for some reason.

For example, the search query for 02 Drink with the Leaves - https://music.youtube.com/search?q=lausse+the+cat+drink+with+the+leaves

The actual song doesn't show up in the search results. But does in the album view. - https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_msEy2MKADlj45BRZN-IJcJPyi1Z98bD9M

I'll have to investigate further.
