Scheduled Task
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On the first use of CfTracker (and every time the CfTracker application has
timed out), it will make sure it has a schedule task set up. If for some reason
this wasn't possible (your CFML may not be supportted for this yet), please
configure a scheduled task with the following details:
Name: CfTracker
Occurs: Daily, every 5 minutes.
Timeout: 240 seconds
URL: http://domain-name-here/cftracker/tools/monitor/task.cfm
* Make sure to correct the above URL to suit your installation.
Start date: Current date or one in the past.
Start time: 00:00:00
End time: 23:59:59
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Adobe CF Admin Extension
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Download the latest stable version of CfTracker.
2. Extract to a folder called `cftracker` inside the `/cfide/administrator/`.
3. In `/cfide/administrator/` should be a file called `custommenu.xml`. Open it
and add the following:
<submenu label="CFTracker">
<menuitem href="cftracker/index.cfm?action=main.default" target="content">Dashboard</menuitem>
<menuitem href="cftracker/index.cfm?action=applications.default" target="content">Applications</menuitem>
<menuitem href="cftracker/index.cfm?action=sessions.default" target="content">Sessions</menuitem>
<menuitem href="cftracker/index.cfm?action=queries.default" target="content">Query Cache</menuitem>
<menuitem href="cftracker/index.cfm?action=memory.default" target="content">Memory</menuitem>
<menuitem href="cftracker/index.cfm?action=stats.default" target="content">Statistics</menuitem>
<menuitem href="cftracker/index.cfm?action=threads.default" target="content">Threads</menuitem>
<menuitem href="cftracker/index.cfm?action=config.default" target="content">Configuration</menuitem>
</submenu>
4. Log into the Adobe CF Admin and you should see a collection of CfTracker
links at the bottom of the navigation sidebar.
================================================================================
Upgrades
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You have two choices for upgrading CfTracker.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Extract the new version of CfTracker, overwriting the previous installation.
2. If you don't want unused files cluttering your installation, follow these
steps:
1. Copy `config.json.cfm` (or `config.cfm` if using 2.0) to a temporary
location.
2. Delete all CfTracker files.
3. Extract the new files to the same location.
4. Copy the config file back into the location.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Adobe CFIDE Extension
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you have installed CfTracker as an Adobe CF Admin Extension, please check
that the `custommenu.xml` file contents match those specified in the
installation instructions above. New sections may have been added or old ones
removed, so the menu has to match.
================================================================================
Troubleshooting
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CfTracker will attempt to upgrade your installation if it detects an old version
of the config file. If this process fails, delete the `config.json.cfm` file
and the `config.cfm` file (if it exists). Then edit the `application.cfc` and
change the application name. This should force CfTracker to use the default
settings and prompt you for a new password.
